Work is transferring alongside at 500 West 22nd Street, an eight-story mixed-use venture in Chelsea that YIMBY first reported on in late April 2016. Alternately addressed as 197 Tenth Avenue, the construction is designed by Union Street Studio LLC and developed by Brantwood Capital and can yield eight residential models. The constructing is situated on the intersection of Tenth Avenue and West twenty second Avenue not removed from the High Line, and can span 33,662 sq. ft with 1,959 sq. ft of retail house on the bottom ground and cellar ranges.
Current photographs present the present state of the venture, which is shrouded in scaffolding and blue development netting. There seems to be a dense grid of home windows with cinder blocks filling in for the perimeter partitions. It’s unclear how ultimate façade remedy will look.500 West twenty second Avenue. No finalized rendering has been launched for the event, and it could be awhile earlier than the outside is revealed from behind the thick blue netting and white plastic sheets that at present cowl the northern and jap elevations. Inside can be a full-floor unit on the second ground, two residences on the third ground, adopted by full-floor models on the fourth by way of sixth flooring, and topped by two duplex models throughout the seventh and eighth flooring. The uppermost residences will function non-public rooftop terraces. Residential facilities, if any, stay unknown.
A completion date for 500 West twenty second Avenue has not been introduced, though someday in 2021 is feasible.
