Police are searching for a killer after a beloved man was stabbed to death in the Bronx.

From handing out money to random kids, to helping people with their bags and strollers, neighbors say 73-year-old Owen Dillard gave a great deal to this Mott Haven community before his life was violently taken Monday night.

Detectives were back in the morning searching for clues to help them find his killer.

  1. This is why people who win any amount of money should be anonymous, when will these idiots at the lottery realize that?! Sad that this man was murdered, my condolences goes out to his family.

  2. This city needs to update it's camera's. It is too easy to still commit a crime and no one can identify the assailant.
