  1. Artist should never be compared!
They could have done a follower count ranking or something

  4. Judging by his other work, I think these images are more cropped than they should be, something isn't quite right. BUT I mean a quick google of his work and its clear the style of work that he has? So why is everyone so shocked at the outcomes? Surely they knew what was going to happen?

  5. On the positive side any press is good press…on the negative side these performers/entertainers weren't given the respect they deserved with both the photos used and write up published.

they might not have been there for the photo but Bianca wasn’t and she is still there?

  9. all this drama could have been avoided by changing the article title to 'top 100 queens from RPDR' but due production issues ( lack of brain) nobody is getting fired
edit: i have a better one 'top 100 queens who are booked and blessed @ RPDR' and their rankings reflect their work

  10. Something about Latrice’s picture is beautiful. I don’t know what it is, but I think it’s stunning. Raw and exposed.

  11. I don't know how anyone could rank the Ru girls. I tried to think of a Top Ten list for myself and I could not do it! I like too many of them. And I agree, what a slap in the face to the non-Ru girls who paved the way. SMH

  23. those pictures are shit, like, literally, I just have flashbacks of pictures they always took in school, we all looked like shit. Also, for the first time I've seen this drama thing at Jaremi's (Phi Phi) feed on tt, and he's so right hating it too, like they didn't even look at what the queens do now. It's just inappropriate and horrible.

  25. While I do understand that people feel some kind of way about the ranking (which people have been doing all the time about everything, chill), are people really mad about untouched pictures ? Wtf ? Enough with the super edited fake stuff. 1/2 the people in magazine I wouldn’t recognised if I saw them in the street. If you think you don’t look good on an untouched picture, be mad at yourself boo.

  27. I write for a number of magazines and have interviewed a bunch of creatives, and I would NEVER tell them I was gonna do one thing and then do another in the article, that's a great way to get someone to never associate with your publication ever again.

  28. People who are apologetic towards rainbow capitalism: this is the result. Because of how we've allowed corporations to infiltrate pride, they've now been given licence to look down on and "rank" our community. Hopefully this will remind people (especially the queens that participated) that the friendly corporation isn't your ally, they're just trying to use you for clicks

  29. Sorry to be thick, but can anyone tell me who the Queen is that's in the bottom right corner?!!

  33. I just read the article, wish I hadn't! Whoever got PAID to write that, yes PAID, should be made to give it back. It reads like a SEO listicle complete with clickbaity title, not a feature piece worth of inclusion in New York Magazine. Pisspoor journalism at its finest, just look at Yuhua's 'entry':

    Yuhua Hamasaki

    Age: 28

    From: New York, NY

Drag Race: Season 10, 12th place

Yuhua is a native of Guangzhou, China.

    Talk about educating the children…
