Exterior work is progressing on the topped-out Ritz Carlton Hotel at 1185 Broadway in NoMad because the curtain wall approaches the constructing’s 580-foot-tall pinnacle. Designed by Rafael Vinoly and developed by MarriottRitz Carlton Hotels, and Flag Luxury Properties, the 40-story skyscraper will yield 150,000 sq. ft and 250 visitor rooms, which can sit above a multi-story podium rising from the nook of Broadway and West twenty eighth Avenue.

The primary southern elevation contrasts with the window-less northern wall, which homes the egress and elevator cores down the middle line.
