Jets buying and selling Steve McLendon to Buccaneers after ugly loss
The Jets’ fireplace sale seems to be underway.
The crew on Sunday agreed to commerce nostril sort out Steve McLendon to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, The Put up’s Brian Costello confirmed, shortly after the Jets fell to the Dolphins, 24-0, to open the season 0-6.
It was not instantly recognized what the Jets obtained in return.
The Tampa Bay Instances was the primary to report the deal.
The 34-year-old McLendon is in his fifth season with the Jets and had been a staple on the Jets’ defensive position.
McLendon, who was the longest-tenured Jet, is scheduled to turn into a free agent after the season.
