NYPD in search of impersonator who crashed into NYC police stables
Police are in search of an odd character who walked into the NYPD’s mounted police stables Saturday evening and introduced himself as “Inspector Tates.”
Confronted contained in the stables at W. 53rd Road and eleventh Avenue, the pretend inspector dashed exterior once more, police sources informed The Put up.
He jumped right into a black Mercedes-Benz and struck a parked automobile as he raced away westbound on W. 53rd Road earlier than turning north — the flawed method — onto eleventh Avenue.
The weird incident occurred simply after 6:30 p.m. The suspect is described as 5’11” and about 190 kilos.
